Hi all, I'm a long-time fan of Lone Wolf (since the 80's) and have been following Project Aon casually for a while, but just found out about the forum! I've spent the last few days trying to absorb everything here and to make sure I wasn't posting duplicate information (apologies if I missed this somewhere else). Anyway, enough about me, here's the good news:
Vincent Lazzari recently posted the following on Joe's Facebook page.

It is time to update everyone on our progress.
Roughly six months ago, my friend and mentor Joe Dever tasked me with assisting his son to finish the three remaining books of the Lone Wolf saga, and to become a sort of loremaster - dedicated to the preservation, the consistency, and the perpetuation of the Lone Wolf Universe.
I’ve already been doing the second task for seven years now - reviewing every new release, and even being entrusted with participating in the writing of RPG sourcebooks, like the recent Magnamund Menagerie, and short gamebook bonus adventures like The Tides of Gorgoron in LW29.
But all these exciting tasks were nothing compared with the excitation I feel now I have to work on Lone Wolf 30 itself - “Dead in the Deep”.
Joe left behind myriad details and specifications about that new book. The scenario, the protagonists’ names, the improved disciplines, the new and recurrent allies and villains, a detailed general flowchart, the issues which must be addressed to prepare LW31-32 and the grand conclusion of the saga - many little seeds that have to grow slowly towards the final showdown.
My role is to fill the blanks using all these notes and deliver a turnkey flowchart with all the sections so that Joe’s son can edit these manuscripts into his father’s writing style, and complete the circle.
Wow, I’m so excited. But it’s of course harder than writing a short bonus adventure! Since I started several months ago and I have made good progress, I’m getting close to the “Deep” place of the title, but there’s still a lot of work to be done. In addition to Joe’s final recommendations, I have all the Maps of Magnamund drawn by Francesco Mattioli for the geography, all the sourcebooks for the bestiary & history, all gamebooks and novels for the plots & background… I couldn’t be more prepared, and I’ll be supported by great authors and friends like August Hahn, Florent Haro, and the members of Scriptarium - an international association of Lone Wolf experts to which I belong.
Our friends and great artists Francesco Mattioli and Alberto Dal Lago are also in already! Ben, myself and all the team will do everything to make "Dead in the Deep" worthy of Joe Dever and of the expectation of the Wolf Pack! We will keep you updated of our progress, and will announce a schedule for publication as soon as we can.
For Sommerlund and the Kai!
