Update on Books 30-32!

It means that we might not see book 30 in English next year, or ever for that matter, until they get a new publisher. Of course the master copy exists, that's not the problem. But let me remind you that the LW series was cancelled in 1998 by a publisher and it took 9 years before another one decided to take the risk to publish it and since then, the Collector's Edition has switched publisher 4 TIMES (if they don't go with Holmgard Press anymore). If you want exposure to gain popularity, you need a certain stability in the publishing process. The revised books are currently not available because it switched publishers so many times.

What I'm really hoping for is for LW to find a permanent home/publisher, a place where every fans will go to get all the gamebooks. To have a central hub will allow to get all that exposure that is needed for Lone Wolf to grow.

Too much changes of publishers, i think on those that first joined the moongose megadeal... 

Now, with this situation the English versions of the books are not only collector editions, they are Extreme collector editions, imposible to get them now... 
Luckily i have all of them.

Apart from book 30 getting published in Italian probably the fall? Nothing that I know of.

I confirm! LW30 is written and being currently translated into Italian and illustrated for a release at fall in Italy.
I'll start my pre-work on LW31 (name to be announced in the end of LW30, of course) this month.

Thank you again for your vigilance, Black Cat, I didn't know it was updated, I'm not responsible for this. But it's the text I wrote when we presented the book at the Lucca Comics & Games 2017. So the content is OK .

Translation in Italian is about to be completed, illustrations are still under production. Everything will be done to have it published at Lucca Comics & Games 2018 in Italy. Sorry for not answering the question about the English (and French) releases, Ben doesn't want me to divulge information about that for the moment.

I dont even have one collector edition book! My obsession with the lone wolf adventures only returned as recently as 2017.

However i do have LW1 to 25 all red fox.

I think the long gap between lw12 and 13 back in the 1990's and the uncertainty at the time mirrors present times. For the good of the fans, don't keep us in the dark !

Something for only this book or the whole kai series?

The new books are all so expensive. More than 200$ for the new first book on Amazon!
Makes me wonder if I should see about getting them in French instead. Though I can't find the new books in French on amazon either way.
The fact that they seem more popular in French makes me wonder if that's the language they were written in originally.

BTW, on the official website of Joe Dever, they mention that book 29 is now out of order but that book 30 is coming soon. Since we were able to order book 29 on this website, I guess we will do the same with book 30.

How long's a reasonable time to wait for delivery for Book 29? I ordered ten days ago (when the official site said it was till available apparently) but since then, nothing...
