Doubtful, if just because it appears in so many different sections. It seems that Joe is saying that the Sommerswerd somehow collects the 'powerful mind waves' of the Vortexi and converts it to healing power, similar to magical blasts in previous books. I guess we won't know for sure until the Mongoose edition of The Legacy of Vashna is released. For now, we couldn't really justify making such a drastic change to the game-play of the book without overwhelming evidence that it should be changed. Thanks for reporting this, however; I'm sure there are other issues which we've missed in the books, so feel free to post them here. And even if we disagree, we're quite happy to discuss our rationale in making certain editorial decisions. We're all Lone Wolf fans, after all! Hope it helps!

www.projectaon.org/en/xhtml/lw/12tmod/sect200.htmWhen I got to the third paragraph, it reads like this (it's not in quotes because the bold code wasn't working): A wall of stones, surmounted by an unbroken coil of razor-sharp wire, encircles the naval base. There is only one way through this perimeter wall--a gate that is guarded by a squad of Death Knights, the 7eacute;lite of the Drakkarim. Boldly you ride towards the gate, hoping to pass through unchallenged, but, as you approach, the Death Knights take up their spears and stand shoulder-to-shoulder across the road. 'Teg okak aga kog Argazad, shad?' demands their sergeant, gruffly. I believe that's supposed to be elite. It could be some sort of encoding program my compy is missing, I guess, but since it's just supposed to be an "e" I am pretty sure this is an error. I don't know my commas, but something in my head says it should be "unchallenged, but as you approach" instead of "unchallenged, but, as you approach." I'll leave this to people who know their grammar.

Hi Holstey Cheers for taking the time to report these! The 7eacute;lite error is famous--it's been fixed in the source file and will be fixed when we revise Book 12. It should read élite which should appear in a web browser as "élite". Similarly, the "puffing -> putting" typo has been corrected in the source XML and will be fixed when we re-release Book 13. As for the comma usage in Book 12 Section 200, while perhaps looking a little unusual, it is not incorrect. I'll add the error to the Errata Page for Book 12 for Jon to look at.

It's really not a problem! If someone spots an error in the books and reports it, it shows we have fans who are taking the time to tell us about problems. If we've already spotted it, it's a good reminder; if we haven't, it's even better. So please don't feel put off from reporting issues you might spot. (Since I'm the one who set up the wikified Errata Pages, I tend to know them with alarming intimacy. That's more my problem than the problem of someone who posts an error we've already noted! )

Book 4, Section 32: "The congregation is wrapped in prayer" should be "The congregation is rapt in prayer"
I think I may have posted this one (or one very similar) a year or so ago, but I do not see it on the list.
...
Found it. Caverns of Kalte. Section 173. Already on the list.
...
Book 4, Section 75
"If you wish to refuse in climb the path" -> "If you wish to refuse and instead climb the path" or "If you wish to refuse and climb the path...instead"

Cheers!
I've made the following chances to the source xml file:
(er) 32: wrapped in prayer -> rapt in prayer (ne) 75: refuse in climb -> refuse and climb
These changes have been committed and the next release we have of Book 5 (that confused me for a few minutes!!) will contain these fixes.
Thanks for taking the time to report these. Once again, if you (or any other contributor) spot any error, please post it here or send it to us and we can get the xml fixed ASAP ready for any future re-releases.

Following our latest digression of the loosing of weapon-like Special Items in DotD, i spotted the following typo(s): DotD, 202: Not sure about DotD, 257: Is it really a "tinny" sound? - What does "tinny" sounds like? .. Maybe the sound of tinny metal is meant..

I've heard the expression tinny sound before It's like when you take a tin can, and tap it with something - a sort of light metallic ring or scrape (as it is in this case) - as opposed to a sound of steel clashing like you get in swordfights - I'd need to check the context to confirm though!

It's an expression often used in criticism of cheap hi-fi speakers etc, where it means "lacking in bass and general 'oomph'".

That's not on the Errata List, so I think you might win a No-Prize for spotting it.
