If anyone would like to compile a list of combats where the stats have been altered for the Mongoose editions, we'll certainly look into it.

The following footnotes have been added to the respective xml files:
The Kingdoms of Terror Section 26:
The Jungle of Horrors Section 13:
The Cauldron of Fear Section 128:
Are there any other updated combat stats in the Mongoose editions?

Maybe not an error, but I want to see what you guys think.
We know that 1 Gold Crown = 4 Lunes. In section 145 of book 8, the innkeeper charges you 15 Lunes for beer and cakes and LW pays with 4 GC, which worth 16 Lunes. So, all I want to know is if it shouldn't be 16 Lunes that the innkeeper charges you instead of 15 so that it gives us a nice round number and you don't lose 1 Lune in the deal (unless the innkeeper gives you change ;D). I think it is the only occurence in the LW series that you are charged with a price that is not equal to an exact number of coins of another currency.

No, that seems fine to me. It teaches Lone Wolf to use the proper currency wherever possible, since there are plenty of places that don't give change.

Hi, just running through Book 12, Masters of Darkness and spotted this in paragraph 200. I've marked the error in bold.
A wall of stones, surmounted by an unbroken coil of razor-sharp wire, encircles the naval base. There is only one way through this perimeter wall--a gate that is guarded by a squad of Death Knights, the 7eacute;lite of the Drakkarim. Boldly you ride towards the gate, hoping to pass through unchallenged, but, as you approach, the Death Knights take up their spears and stand shoulder-to-shoulder across the road. 'Teg okak aga kog Argazad, shad?' demands their sergeant, gruffly.

Ah, the ol' famous 7eacute;lite bug. That's been in the published edition since 2003, I think. It was fixed in the xml an age ago, but we still haven't re-released Book 12 with that silly bug fixed! The 7 should be an ampersand: élite

On page 125 of the MC:
When Darklord Vashna perished AS the Maakengorge...
Obviously, it should be AT the Maakengorge.
The same error appears also on page 3 of Newsletter #5.

VOTM again, ref 104.
Before you bid farewell to Raker and his crew, you share one last meal with them. (Unless you possess Grand Huntmastery, you must now eat a Meal or lose 3 ENDURANCE points)
Eh?

Oddly, I didn't find any errors in book 7. So, on to book 8! --------------------------------------------------- 24 Along the track a great procession of men, women children come towards you, ...women and children... 26 'That's as maybe,' retorts the farmer. ...as may be... 65 Quietly you agree a plan of action. ...agree on a... 109 'Maybe,' replies Paido, cautiously, and points to a menacing streak of blue-black cloud rolling across the skyline from the west. clouds 109 Steadily the sky is darkening, and what began as fine drizzle has now developed into sheets of heavy rain. ...as a fine... (could go either way, really) 145 'That's as maybe,' says the farmer. ...as may be... 161 If you wish to demand that he lets you leave the temple, let (another judgement call, my grammar is rusty on this fine point) 189 -> 13 189 -> 287 13 gives you a time limit on combat, 287 doesn't. Don't know how to resolve that. I saw the change mentioned in post 76. Was 287 updated as well? 191 As you pass a steaming cauldron of stew you catch sight of a stoppered vial of clear liquid. You stop to pocket the vial (remember to mark it on your Action Chart) before running through the door and into the corridor beyond. It doesn't say if it's a pack or special item. I suggest capitalizing it, to make it a pack item. OTOH, there doesn't seem to be a purpose to the vial, other than to hold on to it for a few pages when you can properly identify it. I don't know if there's ever a chance to use gnadurn sap anywhere. If that's the case, then perhaps we shouldn't be marking it on our chart at all. We grab it, hold it for a few pages, ID it, then dump it. 236 We heard about the attack on Luukos, and we reckon they'll be a few rich farmers there who'll pay handsomely for us to protect their interests.' there'll? Is he trying to have an accent? 261 If you possess a potion of Laumspur 317 If you have any Laumspur, Rendalim's Elixir, or Oede herb Paido is dying from gnadurn poison. Is Laumspur the only pot that will help him? What about other healing pots, such as the Larnuma liquer (+3 EP) you get from the ferry to Tharro (228), or even Kourshah (+4 EP) from way back when (book 5, # 211)? 317 is another passage trying to save Paido, yet it also lists Rendalim's Elixir (+6 EP) and Oede herb as possible cures. It also says, "His weakening pulse warns you that unless he receives an antidote or a healing potion, he will be dead within the hour." Elsewhere in the book (42) you can get Tincture of Oxydine (+2 EP), a substance that is used to cure a deadly bacteria. Might that help? What about healing herbs / plants? What do people think? I suggest letting people use any combo of healing pots, so long as Paido is healed of at least 4 EP.
