I've got one of the coolest jobs ever: I sell Harley-Davidsons!

Cool. Are they any models that don't shatter the eardrums of the person(s) riding them?

;D Actually, the stock pipes aren't too loud, it's just that over 90% of people change to something higher flowing for better performance and sound. Also, the V-Rod is relatively quiet and doesn't sound like a typical Harley. It isn't real loud even if you do change the pipes unless people run straight pipes or other mufflers with no back-pressure, which is not really good for the motor. Just thought I'd respond. . .

I'm glad you did, as it was a (mostly;)) serious question. The only reason I've never bothered pricing a motorcycle is the noise level.

I'm a cashier at a convenience store. I forgot to say that I have a part time job as a shopman in a grocery store. We suck. I'm a part-time Front End peon at a large northeast supermarket chain.

You are serving an important role in the retail industry. I don't reckon it's an easy job by any means. Not to mention that as a first time job, it's not too bad. Everyone has to start somewhere. You can't be a surgeon at 16. My advice to you, however, is to stay in school until you have a diploma of some type, above a high school diploma, so you can have an occupation or a trade later on.

Doctor Doogie was a surgeon at a younger age I'm completing my last year at the university and I can't wait to get on with my own life. The job I have right now allows me to pay little things, but when I'll finish my studies, I might get very well paid, say 40-45k $CDN a year? I have one advice: kids, stay in school!

I have one advice: kids, stay in school! On the other hand, don't stay in school too long. I'm a PhD student, and let me tell you right now, the convenience store clerk probably uses more of their brains and earns more money than I do.

Not to mention that as a first time job, it's not too bad. Everyone has to start somewhere. You can't be a surgeon at 16. I'm 24. I don't have an excuse except that I'm lazy and I prefer an easy job that gets me by rather than a more challenging job that makes me more money. Sad but true. I belong to a rapidly increasing demographic here in Maine known as "underemployed". As in, I work, but it's a [nuts] job that's under my overall skill level. Not that I have any trade skills or anything, which I don't. I plan on going to school to study electronics and engineering, but I have to make do until then. You are serving an important role in the retail industry. This is true, actually. We enable the Front End to run much more smoothly than they would without us, assuming we do our jobs correctly. This, in turn, results in happier customers and more sales. It's the easiest [fudgeing] job I've ever had. It's so brainless that I basically daydream all day and still outperform most of my co-workers.

If you really wanna know.... my job is nothing. I sit on my fat ass all day, and get money from the stupid government, because at age 14 I had a brain hemmorhage, which caused me to lose the use of my right hand. Christ, I suck. I can't even drive. My eyesight sucks. I had a brain hem' when I was born, or so they say. My right leg is a lil shorter then my left, so my mom and the stupid doctors thought I had cerebral palsy. I do not. I just wanna be rich. That way, I can afford all the things I always wanted. I still live with my mom and step-dad. Go ahead and make fun.
