OK, another slightly devious gamebook query:
in which gamebook (title, author and series) can you (that is, your character) find in a certain location a bunch of another series of gamebooks penned by the same author of the series you are reading?

Oh, man! This actually sounds very familiar! Where the heck did I see that! ~Relenoir, frustrated with his memory at the moment.

Well, the Silencer Series is going to do that. I guess that doesn't count, though, since it's not, ah, written yet.

Andyr: I posted a response, but I just deleted it because I think it's wrong. Can you clarify:
Is the book you can find the same series as the book you're reading, or is it a different seies as well?

I think I wrote "another" in the query: I'll re-phrase: "a bunch of gamebooks from another series than the one you're reading, written by the same author". I guess that dispels your doubts. Andres

I still think I've seen this. It sounds extremely familiar. Urgh!!! ~Relenoir, who will probably be kicking himself when this question is answered.

Ok, I think we should consider the LW question answered by Andyr. Did you want to post another one, Andyr? I see you're already doing the gamebook one.

Well, given that the question raised some doubts, and that I've already asked one which is not taking fast to answer, I would pass my turn in LW query. Do we draw lots or something??

I guess I'll ask one, seeing as I'm the self appointed referee. Also, I don't have much of a chance against you guys otherwise ;D In Wolf's Bane, there is a picture (I can't give page number, because I have the abridged ) of your four most promised students. By studying the picture and knowing the text you should be able to tell me which one is Blazer.

In Wolf's Bane, there is a picture (I can't give page number, because I have the abridged ) of your four most promised students. By studying the picture and knowing the text you should be able to tell me which one is Blazer. You have the abridged version with the picture, and I have the long version without the picture... I noticed that the French editor skipped some of Brian Williams' artwork starting with book 8. So, I can't answer this one since the picture you are refering to is not in my version...

For you Black Cat, I submit this riddle out of my Silencer Series:
“Solve my riddle before you go. The past may hold what the future will show. If you can solve, you may receive, but be wary that you are not deceived.”<br> “I was traveling recently and happened to see an athletic competition. The citadels of Ceyol Ceylon, Nitaly, Armenia, Mellyn, and Equator all had athletes competing, placing Gold, Silver, Bronze, Runner Up, and Last in the final events. I asked the athletes how they did. This is what they said:
Ceyol Ceylon: "I was not last." Nitaly: "Armenia got the bronze." Armenia: "Ceyol Ceylon placed worse than Equator." Mellyn: "Equator got silver." Equator: "Mellyn didn't get gold."
The Gold and Silver winners lied, but the other three told the truth. Who got the Gold?”

Going out on a limb here. . . I say *possible spoiler to Zipp's question* the results were: Nitaly, Mellyn, Equator, Ceyol Ceylon, Equator, in that order. How'd I do? I think I know the answer to the other question too, but will give others a chance!
