Hello Martin, I've just registered to the forum to give you some support: the Autumn Snow books are really amazing, and we are quite a few, among gamebooks lovers in Quebec or in France, to hope that we'll be able to read the rest! Take care, and hang in there!

Thanks for the motivation boost. I just wish all these phantom fans I supposedly have would manifest themselves a little more often.
Anyway, it's still going strong-ish for now. The days when I used to write a gamebook a month are long gone, but Book 5 is coming to a close. I've left way too many dangling branches along the way — it's really hard to fill in the gaps after they've been stagnating for years. From where I stand, it looks like I'll finally be able to wrap up the series. But then of course, the play-testing phase will have to begin. Not sure if these things are winnable as they stand, what with all the crazy sh!t going down. And then… translating this huge mess to English will take a while. ^_^

Hi Martin, allow me to add my voice of encouragement as well. I’ve not posted on the forum in almost 13 years, but seeing your last message prompted me to return.
I have your first two books and love them. They perfectly capture the tone of the original Lone Wolf titles and I’ll gladly support (and purchase) all the others to come. Don’t let the fantastic work you’ve already released go to waste!
Plus I’m all the way down in New Zealand - your books are a true global success! 😉
All the best, Mike

Then you'll be glad to know, they're essentially finished now. Well, aside from touch-ups and alterations. And play-testing. And translation. But the French paragraphs are basically written down. Although a lot of them will certainly end up on the cutting room floor. I've run a play-through of my own Book 3 and realized it was damn long. Too long. So now it doesn't hurt as much to cut some parts out. I suspect it will be harder with Books 4 and 5, where I really went crazy. Those might end up longer. The two-parter idea was nixed.

I am indeed glad to hear that, it’s a story well worth finishing and releasing. What are your plans for producing it? The Kickstarter for book 2 showed how much interest there is in the series. Hopefully Megara haven’t eroded that too much. Is having Gary Chalk back to illustrate unrealistic?

I honestly don't know. Megara looks like they imploded pretty thoroughly. Gary Chalk illustrating would be great but it remains uncertain. Right now I'm mostly trying to polish up the game balance, round down the number of sections, and get it "canonically approved" by the loremasters of Magnamund.

Book 3 and realized it was damn long. Books 4 and 5, where I really went crazy. Those might end up longer. I fail to see an issue with that? Glad you are coming along, best luck, I am looking forward to playing these.

I supported your work on Megara and unfortunately did not get my Kickstarter pledge honored by Megara. Just a note to say I love your work and keep it up. I very much enjoyed your writing. Koreth

Hi Martin,
Another shadow fan here! I really enjoyed Autumn Snow #1.
Any ideas where I could pick up an English copy of any of your later books?
Cheers, Aaron

Right now, I don't know where they can be obtained. We are trying to figure out when/how they will be republished along with the rest of the series, which is basically complete. No solid information is yet available, except the fact that Book 3 is going through its final play-testing and approval run. Then the Loremasters of Magnamund must bless it with their Staff of Canon.
