I'm happy to confirm. I've had the privilege to review Book 3 and all I can say is it's excellent ! Validated from the lore perspective, it will be a great addition to the LW universe. Currently in phase of play-testing for final approval .

The official Holmgard Press would be fun. Otherwise I'm not sure, it could be anyone. Seeing how Megara has tanked, I'm next to certain that publishing new books with them would be impossible.
Or did you mean that you had suggestions to offer?

Hi Oiseau
Yet another spectral fan who felt the need to take corporeal form to let you know that I'm immensely glad that you're still actively penning away at the Autumn Snow series! You have my support and admiration for keeping the spirit and lore of the Lone Wolf series alive.
Martin, I'd be more than glad to support digital versions until you can find a hardback publisher. (:
Kind regards

hello again
Check out the swedish company Åskfågeln, it is a role-playing company, which publishes several role-playing games, role-playing magazines, several products of Joe devers stuff, such as the lone Wolf, freeway warrior gamebooks and the role-playing games for these, and more They have a kickstart for Magnamund city Maps just now as well.
Check Them out. 👍
Good luck

Just thinking aloud here, but would DrivethruRPG be an option to host and sell digital versions of your works? They also do "on demand" prints of PDFs to both softcover and hardcover; even including single prints. (For PURCHASING digital, and 3rd party RPG add-ons, it's been great. Using the company since around 2002. Now as for SELLING via them, well, they seem very fair in both pricing and commission structure... ) < www.drivethrurpg.com/join.php > ~Angst~

For now, I'm working on finishing and translating the books themselves (they only exist in untested French versions as of now). Publishing will have to come later, and some people are already looking into possibilities. ^_^

Sigh… If all you ghosts had shown up earlier, I might've had the motivation to finish these books years ago…
Anyway, they're well on their way now. I can't predict how long it'll take — they still need to work their way through proofreading, playtesting, and most importantly, translation. That's not gonna happen overnight.
Speaking of which, I only recently read for myself the English version of Book 2, The Wildlands Hunt (which was published during the time where I was completely depressed and didn't care about anything anymore). Is it just my own bias, or is the translation… well, not so good? Not terrible, but some passages just don't read right. Like a direct translation from French without accounting for context or meaning.
I have to admit I actually busted out laughing at the section where Autumn Snow gets punched and it goes, "If you survive this knuckle sandwich…" Can you imagine Lone Wolf fighting a Drakkar barehanded and eating a knuckle sandwich in Joe Dever's actual writing style? ^_^
I might translate the other ones myself, or at least in collaboration with others, to speed things up.

Everything (publishing-wise) about book two is off, which is a shame.

Sigh… If all you ghosts had shown up earlier, I might've had the motivation to finish these books years ago… You mean like a few years earlier, when many of us threw money at Megara for the first two books and received nothing in return? Obviously that situation was entirely Megara's doing, but there was plenty of support for the series at the time. I'd have gladly funded the further three books (and still will) provided Megara isn't in any way involved.

Hello Martin, I was able to find a pdf version of AS books 1-2 and I enjoyed them very much. Are the paper books available to purchase? I would like to buy them. The first book in my opinion is the best and really well balanced. I see that you put lot of effort in "careful choices of kai disciplines" so that you don't rely too much on RNG. Also there are many items to find, making the joy of collectors like me :-) I really would love to share my walkthrough of AS 1-2, but I got the feeling that you are kinda allergic to them.
Also one issue on section 285: "Write down this magical weapon on your Action Chart if you wish to keep it, but remember you may not carry more than 2 Weapons." Am I misunderstanding? I believe that if the weapon is a Special Item, then you can bring it as additional item, beside the 2 normal weapons. In the game "joe dever's lone wolf hd remastered" Lone Wolf has the SS, 2 weapons (dual-wield or shield), daggers to throw or crossbow, bombs, potions...
Thank you for your great work.
Best regards, Kurz
