Yes it was great news to see, here's a bit more in depth on the subject from Joe himself: "FANTASTIC NEWS FOR FEHMARN! Lone Wolf 29 (English edition) will be published on 11 April 2016! I’m absolutely delighted to make this official announcement that Lone Wolf 29: The Storms of Chai will ship in less than two weeks’ time. I have decided to publish it under my own imprint – Holmgard Press – and I’m proud to say that the book is the very best it can be. I’m confident that you’ll be absolutely delighted with this first edition. The size remains the same as all the previous titles in the Collectors’ Series to maintain continuity, yet I’ve made a few improvements to the format. LW29 will have a colour dust jacket that wraps around the book (similar to the Italian Collector editions by Vincent Books). This gives two significant advantages: 1. The colour map is printed on the reverse side of the jacket which enables easy reference to it during play, and 2. The map itself is bigger, brighter and much clearer than previous CE maps. Because the size of the book is identical to the previous titles, and it has the same spine layout (the colour ‘NEW ORDER’ sub-series tab for instance), it will fit in perfectly with your existing collection. Another significant advantage of publishing this milestone book under my own imprint is that I can offer signed first editions, with a personalized message to you and bearing my personal library seal, at no extra cost. LW29 has a bonus adventure, entitled: ‘The Tides of Gorgoron’ by Vincent Lazzari and myself. LW29 The Storms of Chai is now available to pre-order. Just click the link below for the order page and worldwide shipping details. www.mapmagnamund.com/id72.htmlAll pre-orders received before the publication date (11/4/16) will ship between 11th – 15th April. 548 pages Hardcover with dust jacket GBP16.99 + shipping (at cost). Secure packaging & shipping worldwide. For Sommerlund and the Kai!"

What's the chance that he might print the previous books?

What's the chance that he might print the previous books? It can only be guessed. But I'd say high if you see it in a couple years perspective. I'd not be too hopeful within the two next years, since doing the reprints and the rest of the series will most likely take about 2 years, and this is historically a quite good speed of printing. It might be different if the earlier books were error free, but unfortunately this is not the case. The LW 23 to 27 which were printed so long ago has a lot fewer errors than the new books. Doing the reprints unfortunately added a lot of errors to action charts, story so far sections, equipment sections, mini-adventure and so on.

Super excited for book 29, playing through 21-28 to prepare.
As someone who didn't buy the Mongoose books and is looking at £90 minimum pricing for book 1 on ebay, this is very welcome news.
I'd rather save the money and spend it directly with Holmgard Press at this point rather than trawling ebay for the error-ridden Mongoose books, however long it takes.
Setting up a publishing company is a very bold endeavor for an author, and one that should be fully supported.
I'd definitely buy 1-22 as Holmgard Press editions too.

There was a delay in the printing
From Joe Dever's facebook page
"LW29 PRINTERS FAIL YET AGAIN I’ve just got off the phone to the printers and frankly I’m feeling more than a little shell-shocked. My worst fears have just been realised. Despite their promises to the contrary, Lone Wolf 29 is still not ready for collection. Last week I was assured by them that the books would be ready for collection this afternoon and I passed on this news to you all in good faith. It sickens me to have to be the bearer of bad news once more. During our heated phone conversation they let slip that they have put the work out to an eastern-European sub-contractor. Until now I’d been led to believe that they were printing the books themselves. Now I’m told that the books will be ready to collect next Monday 2 May. This immediately rang alarm bells. May 2 is a public holiday in the UK. I tracked down the sub-contractor and they’ve informed me that the books will ship overland by truck to the UK on May 2. They estimate arrival at ‘the printers’ on May 5/6. They will send me the tracking details as soon as the books are dispatched. The degree of incompetence and sheer cynical mendacity I’ve experienced from this so-called printing company has been very painful and dispiriting in equal measure. If the books arrive on 5/6 May (as advised by the real printers) the books will be over 3 weeks late. This is far beyond unsatisfactory. While we are forced to wait for the books yet again, I can only give you my sincere assurance that I am doing everything in my limited power to expedite this sorry situation. I have helpers on standby to assist with the packing and dispatch of the books as soon as they arrive. You will receive your copy as soon as is humanly possible."

Ah, thank you for the update. I was hoping to see something on Project Aon as I thought it seemed to be dragging. What is it with book printers these days? Is this why Mongoose and Mantikore couldn't deliver on their promises? I remember the old gamebooks going from £2 to £4, now it costs £20 for a book and British printers don't even want to take it on at those prices so they get some Romanian cowboys to do it! Have the costs of printing gone up or something...?

Mongoose used to have their role-playing books printed in China. They then tried to print them themselves, investing heavily in printers and machinery but the rusults were never that great (CEs 1 & 2 original print runs). Then then moved printing to somewhere in the US I think. For some years all that machinery sat idle in their office.

It cost a lot more to buy/print bound books than pocket books. That's probably doubling of price right there. Then you have the general inflation as well.
The spine significantly changed after book 4 and the misaligned text inside likewise, so I'd guess mongoose printed up to book 4.
Are you sure Mongoose kept the machines? I thought they sold it. Just too expensive machinery to have it sit and take office space.

I am pretty sure they sold them eventually. I have been to tournaments at their offices some time after they ceased printing their own books and the machines were still there, pushed to one side.
It was some years ago, so my memory is pretty hazy about exact time scales.

I ordered the books, and I have receipt numbers, but never got a confirmation email. I sent an email to the email address on the site, but did not get a response.
Did anyone else get a confirmation email, or are we supposed to have gotten one at some point?
