Thanks, I later did a specific comparison with Seventh Sense options, detecting every single one.
As for the numbers, no experiments are needed: when there is an entry with, let's say, three or four different choices, you just have to start from the left. 0, 1, 2, 3 for example.
Maybe keeping screenshots of the original Seventh Sense options would be useful. I just kept it open in my main system, while I ran Seventh Sense S in the virtual machine. Now I'm playing with exactly all the options I wanted.

Is there a list of the "prodigy" weapons for books 13-20?

No, I don't think so. Some are just named weapons without bonus, and there is non-weapons items that give bonus in prodigy only.

I've been playing the Seventh Sense regular version for some time, would love to upgrade to SSS. Is there an OSX build out there somewhere?

Has anyone gotten any luck getting vanilla SS to work? It keeps saying I need to download the books and put them in the right place. I'm pretty sure I did, but it isn't reading them. It's also not downloading automatically anymore, keeps giving an error message.

Vanilla SS has a different Hardcore Mode and some achievements are easier (eg, High Combat Awards). There might be other reasons to use it but I can't think of them right now. You need to download and install books manually if you want to use vanilla SS, as PA switched to HTTPS at some point and the program doesn't support it. Also there have been some formatting changes that it doesn't work with, either, so you need older versions of the books. You can get those older versions here: projectaon.org/staff/david/Books/Just be aware that only 1-17 work with vanilla SS.

Seventh Sense S is PC only, whereas there's a Mac version of vanilla SS.

I have a Surface and the intro screen is way too big so that I can't press the buttons. I tried modifying settings.txt to change the height and width, but the intro screen is still too big to see the buttons. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have a surface as well and had the same problem. I went into display settings and changed my setting to 150% (the recommendation for the surface is 200%). This allowed me to see the whole intro screen and get started on the adventure. Once it started I was able to go back to my normal 200% setting - its just that first intro screen that seems to be an issue.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but Seventh Sense S just plain doesn't work for me.
I run the installer, and that seemed to work fine. However, when I double click on the LoneWolf.exe in the folder it created, nothing happens - it doesn't open anything, and I get no error message. Task manager doesn't show any process running.
I've tried running both as Administrator and not, neither one makes a difference.
Any clues what I can do here? Is there an error log somewhere?

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that this should not happen. This happens in the first book. Addendum: I tested it. It adds an insane amount of damage in combat, with the specification "Fine Weapon". (The health amount of the enemy hilariously becomes "K".) It only works for one combat, after the first one, it acts as a normal weapon (I don't know if it is still counted as a spear for the weapon skill, nor do I know if it counts as a magical weapon.) In the second book, the shield doesn't seems to work. Is there anything I'm missing? I still have my base CS while in combat. Addendum 2: The shield now works. I wonder if it's because I was using a spear. While I understand that using a spear takes two hands, it isn't specified that the shield should not work with it. Depending of the type of shield, they can be used even when armed with a spear.
