Fingers crossed that these ship soonā¦ and that books 4-5 are right behind them.
Ben also mentioned a āspecial project announcementā incoming, I wonder what could it be? Things I would love to see might include a new printing of The Skull of Agarash, or, getting really crazy, a print adaptation of the video game (which is set after book 3). More likely, I think we may see the special editions of books 1-3, or the art book, from the Spanish KS.

Things I would love to see might include a new printing of The Skull of Agarash The guys at Scriptarium are planning to release a French version of The Skull of Agarash this year but with a twist: it will be in colors instead of B&W! I did a mention of this on the LW Discord channel and August Hahn just answered "<says nothing>", which on the contrary says a lot!

It is strange as a post on the official Lone Wolf Facebook page announcing the delay has been deleted (which I put the link in one of my previous post)... I hope this won't become a habit to delete posts as it is the second time this happens. This doesn't look good for public relations... Where did you get that info of February 9? The Lone Wolf Gamebooks Facebook Group page is now a private one, which means that people not a member cannot see what is been discussed there (bad idea again on the PR side: if you want to attract people to a group, you'll want them to see what is actually happening there, not act has if it was a secret society that you need to be connected to someone to join it).

Will DE hardcover book 1 be out by end of Nov 2021? I hope to get it before i turn 38. šš I am now well above 38. And DE1 hardcover hasnt been released. If the gamerules are exactly the same as what it was in the red fox editions, i wont want to collect the DE. It would cost me over 1800sgd (including shipping cost from the UK) to buy up all the 32 DE books and it will be difficult to resell it here in Singapore even for a meagre sum of 550sgd in future.

The French edition of the extended version of book 1, which is basically the upcoming DE by Holmgard Press, has been released last June and I got a copy. I can confirm the rules are the same but there are several things that have been modified in the adventure: new bonuses for certain combats, new items available to pick up in certain sections, even a new power granted from a very popular item. The other books will probably be modified the same way, although I hope they don't modify too much what certain items do.

I am not sure if the best for the end of LW Saga is being executed by a person who knows very little about LW. And his behaviour regarding the LW fans is at least questionable, for no to say he broke the moral and legal agreement between Aon and the books. Can you clarify what you mean? Do you mean Joe's son Ben executing the end? While he didn't know as much, Vincent L. is an expert and loves the universe Joe created. What do you mean by "behavior regarding the LW fans" and broke moral and legal agreement? Who and what part was broken? Did I miss an announcement? Yes. I think Ben said that he was very rebel and outside the world created by his father for years. And now, you know what Aon means in the heroic survival of LW in the worst moments of the Gamebooks. But Ben has prevented Aon to publish the end of the saga, what breaks Joe Dever/AON projectĀ“s agreement. I think I understand what anotherknight meant. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's just an opinion š I have nothing negative to say about Ben or Vincent regarding LW, or anything else for all that matters but I can't say I was thrilled by the new definitive edition. Cheers Yes, you are right. I am not thrilled by the new definitive edition too.

But Ben has prevented Aon to publish the end of the saga, what breaks Joe Dever/AON projectĀ“s agreement. I'm not part of the Project Aon's staff or have link to anyone of the organization, so someone else who knows better than me could answer more precisely but from what I understand of the Project Aon License, the only books that can be put on the PA's website are the ones listed in it: link. So if Ben doesn't want books 30 to 32 to be on PA's website, he has all the rights to do so and it doesn't break the agreement between Joe and PA. It's not because he wasn't interested in Lone Wolf before he pledged to his father to finish the saga that he cannot do a good job. He went to get help from people that knew the world more than him (August Hahn and Vincent Lazzari, among others), so that tells me that he respects so much the work of his father that he doesn't want to mishandle the end of the saga (those who have read both books 30 and 31 are mostly pleased with them). And so far, he didn't do anything wrong regarding his relationship with the fans. He did what he needed to do to keep them informed on what is going on backstage without saying too much. If your only frustration is that you cannot read books 30 to 32 for free, then ask your local library to buy the books so you can borrow them.

Now it had not anymore in the books written by Ben Devere to finish the saga. Commercial reasons? of course. But no commercial reasons prevent LW to go on during years until this moment. By the way, I am not particularly interested in books of 550 sections specially when they change essential elements from the original story.

It looks like Ben just announced, in the Facebook comments, LW28 Collectorās Edition for release in May. That would be great to be confirmed! (no facebook here) I am looking forward to have a new roadmap with the next publishing date estimates. Most probably after the first volumes of the Definitive Edition are sent.
