So Lone Wolf was the first Supreme Master. I wonder what happed to Sun Eagle after death. I suppose he couldn't practice Kai anymore, but perhaps took a new direction in enlightenment. How did he die anyway ? In a battle with Vashna was it?
I don't know what happens to dead people in Joe's world. Well some of them end up in the Plain of Darkness, like Adamas, Seb Jarel and Paido, who Lone Wolf freed to the Plain of Light in Curse of Naar. I don't know if they just live in a kind of ignorant bliss in Plain of Light or whether they have knowledge of the progress of Magnamund.
Anyhow Sun Eagle has watched the progression of the kai people, possibly from its beginning and even after his death, so I like the idea of having him come to Lone Wolf in some way to teach him some new things.
Oh yeah I also have an indispensible idea, for what Lone Wolf or GrandMaster could say when they finally beat Naar. "Naar, Naar, Naar, Naar....Naar,Naar,Naar, Naar....hey-heeey...Goodbye!". Yeah none of that "Finally I have vanquished my ancient foe" or some bollocks like that. ;D

How did he die anyway ? In a battle with Vashna was it? No, it was after the Battle of Moytura Pass (where Ulnar I defeated Vashna at Maakengorge) that Sun Eagle first began to understand the Kai Disciplines. Isn't that Bananarama . . . ?

I think the intention is to go for more a John Lennon kinda thing. Or maybe 2 Unlimited:
Naar Naar, Naar Naar Naar Naar, Naar Naar Naar Naar, Naar Naar there's no evil!

No, I think it is more based on the "Nah nah nah, nah nah nah, hey hey hey, goo-ood-bye!" from the song of Bananarama "Kiss him Goodbye". And about Sun Eagle, my guess is that he died because he was too old, approximately at the age of 200. The Lorestones made him live longer (for every 5 years, he gets older of only 1). [outspaced: Sorry! Pressed modify instead of quote and didn't notice.]

Ah, Ulnar, was the name I'd forgotten. So that battle predated the Kai, and Sun Eagle didn't have a famous death in battle.

Ahem... Shouldn't we stick on topic? Since we are talking of artists, I still cannot explain why in Magnamund we don't see much artists. Ok, there's the Famous Asajir Troup in book 4, but that's it. You know, it could had been fun to spy on an evil dude that would be assisting a theatrical performance, just to see what kind of Romeo & Juliette they have. Maybe we could make a suggestion to JD for one of his last books?

I'm bumping this thread back to the top because, in a not very distant future, we will know if we were right or not with the ideas that we got.

It'll be about four years yet, probably.

Don't know: they might want to publish the previously unpublished 4 books before they actually publish the new version of the other books.

I do agree it makes sense if it's about the return of Agarash the damned. How interesting will that be? What do we know of him? He could create beasts and tried to rule (or destroy?) Magnamund. Was he anything more than a Darklord with a few more CS?

Was he anything more than a Darklord with a few more CS? I don't know... for me, each Darklords was probably representing 1/20 of the power of Agarash. So, fighting Agarash would be like taking on 20 Darklords at the same time. EDIT: Oh, and on the Mongoose board, they almost confirmed that the last 4 gamebooks will be published out of sequence. Yeah!

Bumping this thread, because I think it worths it.
KaiLord, known as FallenAngel over at TotS, posted information about the upcoming interview that Joe Dever gave to Darklord Vashna and that we are supposed to publish in the Rising Sun. Here's what we learn (HUGE SPOILER. HIGHLIGHT TO READ)

Hmm . . . that's quite interesting.
;D
The anticipation for April will help me survive the dark, dreary, bleak, cold, wet, miserable, rotten, vile, depressing days of winter. Maybe.

The anticipation for April will help me survive the dark, dreary, bleak, cold, wet, miserable, rotten, vile, depressing days of winter. Maybe. It's winter here in Texas. The temperature has plummeted to a miserable 60 degrees Fahrenheit. The sky is perfectly blue and cloudless, there's a light breeze, and all the flowers are in bloom. It's awful.
