*Spoiler* The text suggests that running away from the Tarnalin Helghast only wounds it (as was the case for the Spear Helghast- run through but still alive). You have to kill the Tarnalin one 100% dead for it to count.Fire On the Water, Section 338: GIMME MY ACHIEVEMENT.

Sorry, but all things appeared to be assumed from perspective at that point. It could be feigning death. There is a passage where it's quite certain that it can't be acting:
Disintegrating into nothing is confirmation. Until then it could just be waiting for someone to remove the spear while incapacitated.
*end spoiler*

Likewise, when you find the first Helghast with the spear in his chest, when you withdraw it, he gives you the impression that he is dying/dead, and so attacks you unawares when you turn away.

I fought 8 combats in book 3, no achiev. Yep, a bug. I checked the code, and I accidentally have in place that LW had to reduce each enemy to 0 EP for it to count (it was a leftover from a previous misinterpretation on my part of the award's requirements). I checked on the other books' high combat count awards, and the same bug was there in 4 and 5, too. All three are now fixed in the source. If you keep with your current campaign until the next bugfix is released - it will automatically look back and apply the award you really earned in book 3. If you start a new campaign, though, it'll erase that history, and you'll have to do the award over again.

Hi, I finished Kai series with all boss fights, yet I haven't got the award... (version 1.7.3) and I fought (spoiler) Gourgaz, Helghast (with the Magic Spear), Ak'raa Neonor, Barraka, Haakon (end of spoiler)
I think there is only one boss fight in each book.

Hi, I finished Kai series with all boss fights, yet I haven't got the award... I thought I been fixed it in 1.7.2... Apparently not! Would you please send me your resume file via email? It will help me track it down so much more quickly!

For the record, I got my bossfight achiev just fine. And the weapon-stockpile one! That was a nice surprise.

Well, that's curious. Now, when I finish book 6, I got the boss award.
So everythink is OK now :-)
Maybe the reason is that I upgraded to 1.7.3 in the middle of boss campaign. I played books 1-4, then upgraded, and play book 5.
Maybe there was some inconsistence which was corrected after finishing book 6...

Well, I don't *think* that should make a difference. You should have gotten it upon completing book 5... Ofecks, do you remember whether you got the award after finishing book 5 or book 6? I'll do a little testing of my own on this one, and see if I can track it down.

I believe there's also a bug with the Kalkoth award in Book 3. It states that you need to kill at least 3 by any means. By completing section 138, in which you kill one Kalkoth before beginning combat and then fight two others, that would seem to fulfill the requirement. I completed this section and did not receive the award. Should this receive the award, or should the tooltip be reworded to say "Kill 3 Kalkoth in combat"?

bossnova, I'm bringing this one up with kamikaze - looking at the text of 138, I agree with you. And it was exactly with that sort of scenario in mind that the tip was phrased "by any means", meaning you do not have to only kill them in combat.

Thanks for pointing that out, bossnova. It actually pointed out a couple errors made when I drew it up. I gave Dave the fixes to the counts Well, I don't *think* that should make a difference. I'll do a little testing of my own on this one, and see if I can track it down. I just earned the award. I got it just as I started Book 6 (immediately after clicking on the button to start it at the end of 5).

Yeah, I just tested it out, too, and it was awarded to me upon finishing book 5 (starting book 6). This is the expected outcome, so I'm going to say there is no bug in that award. That's not to say there wasn't one earlier. In fact, there was one there in 1.7.1, so Honza, if you went from 1.7.1 or earlier to 1.7.3, that may have made a difference.
I'll fix the Kalkoth award, and release the bugfixes this weekend!

Confirming your own testing, I got the bosskill achiev once I finished book 5. I noticed that you don't get any award notifications until you click the button that takes you to the next book. Is that intended? Would it be possible to move the notification upon entering section 350? That would make it flow a bit better for the reader.

Now that you mention it, I guess it would make sense for you to get the award(s) upon hitting the final section of the book. That should be an easy adjustment. (Edit: This has been added for next release)
