Book 7, section 214. Tunnel Door should be immune to Mindblast and Psi-surge. You are not attacting them, but only trying to raise them off.

Well, this one is an interesting section. I have originally felt exactly the same as you do, but my mind was swayed against having the door be "immune" (despite the fact that it has no mind!) because of the way that Mindblast and Psi-surge can be used to set up vibrations in objects, and at higher levels, actually destroy those objects. So, my eventual reasoning is that Lone Wolf would be focusing not only all of his physical efforts into raising the door, but also all of his mental efforts (including the effectual bonus from Nexus.)
What we really need is a reduced penalty if LW has Mind Over Matter, but not Nexus, so he only loses 2 CS, instead of 4.
I am open to further suggestions with this scenario, such as having the door be immune to Mindblast, and giving a +2 bonus from Psi-surge, or other ideas. Perhaps I'll open it up to another thread discussion, since it isn't really a bug.

Just a minor one, book 6, section 139, Arla's Axe should be made pickable. And if I may suggest, you could give it some interesting properties (in Prodigy mode)

Speaking of which - Should Parsion's sword in book 2 be pick-up-able, and should it have special properties as well? Or would Lone Wolf shun the use of black steel weapons? If so, how do we justify his possible use of the Dagger of Vashna and Helshezag?

Hmmm, interesting catch. And you could also find an "evil-looking dagger with a black blade" from Helghast in book 2 section 320. But maybe weapons from black steel could be forbidden for LW. Dagger of Vashna is specific, because it holds Vashna imprisoned in Maakengorge (before coming of the Deathstaff of course, and whichever will happen in books 29-32). And Helshezag is useful against Darklords, and has its ill effects (I heard in the new Mongoose edition the -1EP penalty on each turn is permanent).

Another sort of nitpicking:
Book 6, section 158, the Silver Key button should be red (mandatory). And if you lose it along the way, you should not be able to open the Lorestone vault. So, if in section 310 you do not possess Silver Key, the option to section 293 should be grayed out.

Not sure these are bugs, maybe it is by design.. ok here goes: Book 3 Section 265 if you die of Crystal Frostwyrm the next section is greyed out and said you died but you don't get any popup window saying you want to restart or alike.
Section 227 - it states if you got Mind over Matter you can push back the 2 "things" I chose to press both.. but they never came up even then I got Mind over Matter, is that normal? (maybe it is?)

Book 3 Section 265 if you die of Crystal Frostwyrm the next section is greyed out and said you died but you don't get any popup window saying you want to restart or alike. Ah - this was a mistake, and it also affected several other nearby sections, including a couple of other combats. Fixed. Not entirely sure what you mean. So, you pressed both buttons (turn to 299), and then were unable to choose the first option on that section (If you wish to try and activate the buttons again, turn to xxx)? Or was something grayed out on section 227?

EDIT: Sorry, I hit modifiy instead of quote. Doh! Anyhow, most of jbryntze's original post is preserved in the quotes below... and those are *my* responses below them. (-Dave) Ah, I see. No, regardless of whether you have Mind over Matter or not, you really one get one chance at pushing the buttons. They jam up no matter which combo you press. Mind over matter *does* save you from <spoiler> taking damage if you press both buttons - the surge of electricity doesn't harm you then. </spoiler> I have no idea. Gotta finish my dissertation first.

I mistakenly modified your post, instead of quoting it. See above for my response.

aha that made sense, great! Another one that migth also be by design but very strange: Book 1 Section 154, after going right (yeah that isn't "right" in this case) after saving Prince Pelethar (not a reward for that? c'mon ;-))... first a section you lose 3 EP, then you got only one choice and it is a dead end.. really? did Joe Dever really do one section to lose 3EP and the next (no other choice) dead end? also here you get no notification you are dead or alike, except for the obvious text If I had book 1 in paper I would check it myself, actually I got it in 4 different English exemplar, one Swedish, one French but all back in Sweden and I live in France since 5 years... I really need to ship my LW stuff here but I'm so afraid it get lost or hurted during transport.

By design, the only time the game brings up the "You have died..." dialogue is when you die from losing EP (either in combat or from section text telling you you got hurt.) Since the sections where you actually die are usually far more descriptive and interesting than my little pop-up message, I don't pop it up on those sections. That's by design.
As for Joe's choices of paths in his books, I can't comment - I can only assume that he meant to do what he did.

Book 6, section 307. You could buy only 2 loaves of bread, although the text states you could buy as many as you wish.
