Megadeal Refunds

Megadeal is back up again. Mongoose are going to supply the books they owe to megadeal customers. Books will be produced by Mantikore, but I assume they've cut a deal to sell Mongoose enough to meet their obligations.

Well I still dont have book 3 Caverns of Kalte.... not a happy bunny. Anyone have the second edition of Book 3 for sale?(Not the square spine edition)

Well it appears that patiance could pay out. Regarding the priceraise that the Books got during the past years.If they in fact deliver the rest of the books of course.
Optimistic as I am I asked Matthew to fill me in for the continued Megadeal with Mantikore. The story goes on ; )

Pjagum, I'm not sure I'd say I'm optimistic, just grimly determined to see it through to whatever end. ;-D

I've all but given up on ever seeing any sort of a refund. I think I'll make a request again as the last item I actually got a response out of Mongoose they simply didn't follow up on it. I'm seriously considering taking civil action over this and that's not something I'd do lightly.

I don't even know what's going on anymore. I got Book 18 from Mantikore and then, rather absurdly, another copy from Mongoose a few months later. Is Mantikore still going to publish? Are they still going to release them through Mongoose? Emails to Matt at Mongoose have, unsurprisingly, not been returned. I don't even know where to look for information anymore.

Apologies, we are running a little behind right now.

We are offering two options - either a pro-rata refund of $181.78, or $599.99 credit in current Mongoose products, post-free. You do not have to use all the credit at once (though you are welcome to!), and you may save it for future releases.

but still no monies received. I have emailed again today (new year, new hope for settlement) and now will wait again.
how many of us are still waiting for their money back? make yourselves known, maybe we can band together and force some sort of action?

My understanding is that Mongoose will still ship the Mantikore product. I don't necessarily care if it gets shipped from Mantikore or Mongoose, as long as I get them at a rate not less than 2 per year ( as I recall Mantikore called "sustainable") and don't have to pay any more for them.

My previous email requests for refund were answered with silence, but I think I emailed that the Mantikore arrangement is acceptable to me.

That is my present understanding, and sounds like wolf's bane got shipped to megadeal customers, so I should get mine soon.

I have not received any more books from either mongoose or mantikore. I am on Mr. Devers' mailing list and am buying my books directly from him, so im more than happy with this arrangement. however I do not want to let mongoose off their debt of £110 to me. I may try to get legal advise and see where that goes.

just had an e-mail from Mr Sprange asking if my email address can receive paypal payments.

maybe I'm going to get my refund?

I never received any books from mantikor.
but I have received my mongoode refund today ($181.78) so I'm happy with that at least.

Hmm might have to try for that instead. Just so much hassle all of this but can't afford to give up.

Hang in there man! I haven't received it from mongoose yet either, but I e-mailed msprange we book 19 was announced and he told me I'd be seeing it in January. I'll update you when if/when I get it
