2 Weapons (with or without scabbard, it makes no difference I disagree here. The two-weapon limit is explained right from the beginning as being because you carry Weapons in your hands. But weapon-like Special Items are always described as being carried on your person. So you should be able to fit quite a few weapons on your person... a hard limit doesn't take into account sizes (Sommerswerd vs Dagger of Vashna for instance). Takes a hand slot when used, just like a weapon. Could well be on the belt, not a baldric. You're not a packrat, I take it? (Even if you don't carry it, it gets a spot in the Lone Wolf Vault of Memorabilia. Right alongside the Ticket to Port Bax and those Diamonds.)

Can you sell those Diamonds anywhere? Or are they only for distracting Ice Barbarians (when you're already dead)?

They were Special Items, right? So yes, there are two points (that I know of) where you can 'sell' Special Items (once for a horse, the other time for cash) -- but it doesn't make a difference whether they're Diamonds, special weapons or expired Tickets.

Right... so Lone Wolf NEVER has his hands free. He always carries 2 weapons in the hands and 2 weapons in their sheath. What happens, when he needs to use his bare hands ? I agree he can carry more than 2 weapons IF they are little, or lightweighted, (i.e. Dagger of Vashna AND other 2 special weapons) but added to other 2 weapons in the hands... it is an overweighted character, too. Yeah, I know it's in the rule, I intended to say what would be a more realistic, and different rule. Of course in the game you can carry 2 normal weapons and 12 special weapons, it is right.

Oh, certainly, he doesn't always carry them in his hands. My point is rather that that's the standard-rules explanation for two weapons -- I don't understand why your rules have a hard-and-fast two-weapon limit as well.

Right... so Lone Wolf NEVER has his hands free. That was my understanding. That is why I have a character named Lone Kreuger. Also I have a guy named Edward SommerswerdHands. Sol ;P

Well, just a trial to replay Lone Wolf books ! Of course, the first time I played them, I strictly observed rules from the text.

Well, I finally have a definitive answer to this question, and the answer is: Yes, you can carry multiple quivers. The answer lies in #26 if you opt to go to the Dwarven Armory as you begin your quest in section 238. Among the things you can choose from, it says this:
Please note that this quoted text is Lone Wolf © ™ Joe Dever 1984-2005. Glad I could help. ;D

Because on many missions I find 6 arrows to not be enough... especially if I don't happen to find any replenishments during a mission (ie from victims) and sometimes between some books there is no respite either (ie book 10 and book 11).
I personally think two is acceptible... do you know how big arrows are? A quiver that holds only 6 is not going to be huge, and I can carry two slinged rifles over one shoulder so two quivers with a capacity of 6 arrows shouldn't be a problem.
This raises another issue. It is mentioned you can only carry two weapons because you only have two hands... but what about two handed weapons? Quarterstaffs can't be sheathed. A bow is also a two handed weapon when used too.

One weapon hangs by each leg usually. How many legs do you have? Now add all but one hand and all legs and that's the maximum weapons carried. All hands is maximum weapons usable. NS.

You know, I never understood the reason to call it a bo staff. After all, when "bo" *means* staff in Japanese (or something similar), it really makes no sense in English!
NS.

Kind of like a hot water heater (why would you heat hot water, it's already hot!) or when people say they're going to de-thaw something (doesn't that mean freezing it again?) Silly! ;D
