wait,
I just read a website that seems to have coppied text from the magnamund companion. I need clarification:
"Following the destruction of the Transfusor, only one Darklord makes it back to the Darklands alive. This is Darklord Khatellu. Without the core of the power, the city of Helgedad, to back him up Khatellu resigns himself that it will take him centuries to rebuild the Darklands power. Soon after Khatellu's arrival in Nadgazad, he receives two new advisors. One is Avarice the Betrayer, a First Order Kai Lord turned evil, and the second is a mysterious creature called Wayl.
Khatellu knows he's living on borrowed time, but his exact plans are as of yet shrouded in mystery."
Is this true?! What does Khatellu look like? Who's Avarice the betrayer? or Wayl? Is this someones creation or is it from the books?

It's the first I've ever heard of it. It certainly isn't from The Magnamund Companion since that book deals with year MS5050 just prior to the Darklord invasion that almost wiped out the Kai Lords. It doesn't appear in section 350 of The Masters of Darkness, the official end of the Magnakai Quest, which states that Lone Wolf's victory is total.
So I would write this off as a fan-creation. It's not from any of Dever's Magnamund canon.

This seams to me fan-fiction. As I understand it ALL of the Darklords were slain.

You're thinking of this story, right? www.magnamund.org/risingsun/May99/Bargain.htmlThe stories in the Rising Sun e-Zine are indeed not official storylines; this one is from Robert Ekblad and was based on characters from the Electronic Role Playing Game (ERPG). Can't tell you much about that, but here's the homepage: www.algonet.se/~thyhe/By the way, that e-Zine (though not continued since February 2001) looks like it's worth another look ... The Wytch-King

According to the ERPG's continuity, Khatellu did indeed survive, and took up residence in Nadgazad where he ruled the city. He was described as having a panther like body, with visible intestines (translucent skin around the abdomen). He walked on all fours. Avarice was a First Order Kai Master named Cloud Lion, who, several hundred years before the destruction of the Order discovered a gemstone in a cave (I'm unsure as to whether this is a Doomstone or not, my memory is hazy) and turned to the side of Evil. He's a very powerful being, capable of strong magic as well as having Kai skill. He's begun to train a pupil in the Dark Kai Arts, a warrior from Chai called Dark Phoenix. Wayl is a sort of counterpart to Alyss. I don't remember exactly what her purpose is in the world of Magnamund, but she is very powerful, like Alyss. Oh, and Khatellu has dissapeared from Aon, I think to go on some sort of quest. Again, my memory is hazy on this one. This is all fan fiction, by the way. The ERPG is a really good collection of stories, and I recommend that everyone takes a look. Then again, I am slightly biassed in that I participate -Ss

Yes I have enjoyed many a time reading the stories that the ERPG has to offer. I am always craving new information on Lone Wolf which is why I was so excited to get the Legends series. Now if only Project Aon would one day put the New Order series on here....

Now if only Project Aon would one day put the New Order series on here.... We might. I'm more interested in us getting the Grand Master series, Grey Star series, Freeway Warrior series, Magnamund Companion, Skull of Agarash and Lone Wolf Poster Painting Book done first

I actually read this a few years ago, and thought it was so interesting that I incorporated it into my RPG at the time. The Kai Lords couldn't figure out why the Darkland creatures had seemed so organized in their raids on Sommerlund as of late. . .

Where can we find the fan fiction stories from the electronic RPG?

Didn't Dever say something like, the Transfuser wiped out every last Darklord, and plus the Kai all except Lone Wolf were wiped out. HW

Approximately August/September, we reckon. Probably. Maybe. Barring any unforeseen occurrences. Possibly.
